应用

二叔丁基氮氧化物（DTBN）可用作：
  • 一种添加剂，用于通过使用铜基金属有机骨架（MOF）作为催化剂而将胺和二硫化物或硫醇进行氧化偶联以合成N-亚砜基亚胺。
  • 可控自由基聚合反应中的引发剂。
  • 一种试剂，通过与芳香酸氯化物发生以制备N-芳酰基-o-芳酰基-N-叔-丁基羟胺。

在室温下将初级和次级苄胺氧化成亚胺的试剂，还用于对 Zeolite X 中的 Lewis 酸中心进行 ESR 研究。
自旋标记物。一直用于对小鼠角质层中的脂质微区和热现象进行定位。
