二氯二苯基硅烷与双酚-S的二缩水甘油醚的加成反应产生带有侧氯甲基的聚（甲硅烷基醚）。{40}二氯甲基硅烷和二氯二苯基硅烷之间的偶联反应可以在-75oC下形成二有机硅烷-氢硅烷共聚物。用四丁氧基二苯胺环磷腈在100oC-160oC之间的温度条件下加热该化合物可以产生环磷腈低聚物。{42}
