General description
We are committed to bringing you greener alternative products, which adhere to one or more of the 12 Principles of Greener Chemistry. This product replaces Triton™ X-100, a member of octylphenol ethoxylates (OPEs) that pose documented risks to human health and the environment, making it subject to REACH restrictions. Our alternative is readily biodegradable, and thus aligns with Green Chemistry principles "Designing Safer chemicals" and "Design for Degradation". Click here for more information.
Detergents, such as non-ionic surfactants, are used in biomanufacturing processes for a variety of applications including viral inactivation and cell lysis.
