Sulfanilamide Melting Point Standard, also called Sulfanilamide, is an antibacterial drug. It blocks the synthesis of dihydrofolic acid by inhibiting the enzyme dihydropteroate synthase.

应用
It was used in a study to demonstrate photodecomposition in aqueous solution of cutaneous photosensitizing agents with the help of spin traps 5, 5-dimethyl-1-pyrroline-1-oxide.
