Eicosapentaenoic acid ethyl ester USP reference standard, suitable for use in specified USP compendial tests and assays.

Also used to prepare a standard solution for assay and profiling of omega fatty acids by using gas chromatography in conjunction with a flame ionization detector (GC-FID)according to the following United States Pharmacopeia (USP) monographs and general chapters:
