ADC preclinical and clinical development

As an ADC advances through preclinical and into clinical evaluation, material purity, formulation stability, and regulatory compliance become critical. High-purity, GMP-compatible materials reduce impurity risk, support robust analytical characterization, and accelerate the path to clinical milestones.

Find reagents for the ADC preclinical and clinical development stage.

Detergents for protein solubilization and stability

TWEEN® 20 and TWEEN® 80 are used in ADC formulations to prevent aggregation and surface adsorption. SDS is used as a denaturing agent in SDS-PAGE and CE-SDS for structural characterization of ADC components. Both serve distinct roles in formulation stability and analytical workflows.

Formulation buffers for system stability

Histidine, phosphate, and citrate buffers are standard in ADC formulations to maintain pH stability and structural integrity during storage and clinical administration. They also support comparability studies and forced degradation experiments, generating the stability data required for IND and BLA submissions.

Metabolism assay kits for cell analysis

Metabolism assay kits quantify payload-induced changes in cellular ATP, oxidative stress markers, and enzyme activity. These measurements characterize ADC mechanism of action, identify off-target metabolic effects, and build the in vitro safety profile required for IND-enabling studies.

Metabolite libraries for payload analysis

Mass spectrometry-based metabolite libraries enable identification and quantification of payload-derived metabolites and linker degradation products in cellular matrices. This supports toxicokinetic profiling and guides selection of optimal linker-payload combinations in preclinical screening.

Stabilizers for stability assessment

Sugar-based cryoprotectants, including sucrose, trehalose, mannitol, and sorbitol, preserve ADC structural integrity during lyophilization and long-term storage. Formulation screening with these excipients identifies compositions that minimize aggregation, maintain DAR integrity, and fulfill thermostability criteria for clinical-stage products.
