Gene Information

human ... SLC23A3(151295)

Immunogen

Synthetic peptide directed towards the N terminal region of human SLC23A3

Application

Anti-SLC23A3 antibody produced in rabbit is suitable for western blotting at a concentration of 1.0μg/ml.

Biochem/physiol Actions

SLC23A3 (SVCT3) is a Na(+)-dependent vitamin C (ascorbic acid) transporter belonging to the SLC23 family. It is expressed in the kidney and, like the other members of SLC23 family, is involved in maintaining the balance of vitamin C and its oxidized form dehydroascorbate (DHA) in the body.

Physical form

Purified antibody supplied in 1x PBS buffer with 0.09% (w/v) sodium azide and 2% sucrose.

Other Notes

Synthetic peptide located within the following region: SRSPLNPSQLRSVGSQDALAPLPPPAPQNPSTHSWDPLCGSLPWGLSCLL
