Derived from the human lymphoblast TK6, which is heterozygous for TK. The parent line was exposed to 20ug/ml thioguanine which produced a thioguanine resistant sub-population. The cells can be used as a fusion partner.

Preparation Note

Maintain cultures between 3-9x100,000 cells/ml; 5% CO2; 37°C.
RPMI 1640 + 2mM Glutamine + 10% Foetal Bovine Serum (FBS).
