The antibody is directed against a 188kDa polypeptide present on the basolateral plasma membrane of Madin-Darby canine kidney (MDCK) cells. This polypeptide is the same as, or closely related to, the cell adhesion molecule uvomorulin.

Preparation Note

EMEM(EBSS) + 2mM glutamine + 1% Non Essential Amino Acids (NEAA) + 10% Foetal Bovine Serum (FBS)
Maintain cultures between 3-9x100,000 cells/ml; 5% CO2; 37°C.
