Mouse x Mouse hybridoma
The monoclonal antibody CC101 was produced by inoculating mice with bovine lymphocytes activated with concanavalin A (Con A) The antibody is specific for the WC1 molecule on gamma delta T lymphocytes in cattle that also reacts with porcine, sheep and goat cells. It recognizes a 180,000 MW molecule on the majority of pig CD2- CD4- CD8- T cells. Cells have been grown on macrophage feeder cells and using hypoxanthine and thymidine at concentrations appropriate for hybridomas. It is recommended to continue this until sufficient cells have been frozen.
