Description
Analysis Note
PAHs are present in oil, coal, and tar deposits. They can also be produced by the incomplete combustion of organic matter or when grilling meat. Monitoring is important because they are identified as carcinogens. Multiple isomers exist, which are difficult to resolve chromatographically.
This application depicts the QC test mix analyzed on a SLB ILPAH column. As shown, this column has the necessary selectivity to resolve several isomer sets.
