Description

Analysis Note

Although proteins are the most common applications of Sepax SRT and Zenix gel filtration columns, they can also be used to other water-soluble polymers such as the poly(ethyleneglycol) samples shown in these chromatograms. The conditions are very similar to those used for protein analysis, namely 150mM phosphate buffer at pH 7.0. Judging by the narrow peak widths all PEG polymers shwon here have rather narrow size distributions.
