250 μL of rat plasma spiked with 500 ng/mL meropenem, protein precipitation by addtion of 750 μL of 1% formic acid in acetonitrile, (centrifuge 10,000 rcf for 5 min, dilute 3:1 with 1% formic acid in acetonitrile prior to injection)
