Description
Analysis Note
This rapid UHPLC analysis on Ascentis Express 2 μm C18 particles resolves six metabolites of synthetic cannabinoids JWH-018 and JWH-073 in less than two minutes. Synthetic cannabinoids are illicit substances that are smoked as components of herbal incense mixtures. In early 2011, the US Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) placed several of the most popular synthetic cannabinoids, including JWH-018 and JWH-073, on their Schedule 1 list, making the possession or consumption of these compounds illegal.
