靛胭脂可作为试验材料，使用溴化乙锭(EB)荧光探针通过光谱分析法研究其在生理缓冲液(pH 7.4)中与小牛胸腺DNA的相互作用。它可作为分析试剂，使用溴化溴酸盐混合液通过分光光度法测定纯净和制剂形式的泮托拉唑钠倍半水合物(PNT)。靛胭脂还可作为分析参考标准品，通过微乳电动色谱(MEEKC)技术对食品中的分析物进行定量分析。
General description
靛胭脂/靛蓝胭脂红(IC)是人工合成的靛蓝染料，属于食用染料，用于赋予无色食品更鲜明的外观，改变食品的原有色泽和质地，以及在食品加工和储存过程中保持其天然色泽。
