Application

Ribonuclease A Activity Kit has been used to assess the activity of RNase released from the nanogels.

Biochem/physiol Actions

Ribonuclease A (RNase A) can convert RNA to oligonucleotides in the presence of water. In the absence of metal ions or cofactors, RNase A can catalyze the hydrolysis of single-stranded RNA.

General description

Ribonuclease A (RNase A), a well-known protein, is frequently used as a model system to study folding, stability, and chemistry. It is made up of three α helices and seven β strands that are organized in two "lobes".
