General description

1,3-二氯-2-丙醇是一种食品加工污染物。对重组 大肠埃希菌通过基于树脂的原位中生物转化 1,3-二氯-2-丙醇生成表氯醇的过程进行了研究。

1,3-二氯-2-丙醇用作医药中间体和溶剂用于油漆、清漆和环氧树脂。

Application

1,3-二氯-2-丙醇可用作合成以下物质的反应物：

通过与二（聚）-N-甲苯磺酰胺进行乙醇钠催化的环化反应制备的羟基-N-甲苯磺酰环拉胺。
采用生物催化剂制备的(R)-表氯醇。
土壤熏蒸剂1,3-二氯丙烯和合成甘油。

它还可用作环氧树脂生产的中间体，硬树脂和硝化纤维素的溶剂。
