一般描述

Rethink your bioinks with TissueFab®

About the material:

The TissueFab(R) soft tissue (Gel)ma bioink, Vis/405nm, low endotoxin contains:

  • Low endotoxin GelMA based bioink with visible light photoinitiator
Printing and crosslinking parameters:

  • Suitable for extrusion-based bioprinting
  • Visible light crosslinking at 405 nm wavelength
The low endotoxin TissueFab(R) soft tissue (Gel)ma bioink is a cutting-edge solution designed for bioprinting cell-laden hydrogels with precision and ease. Formulated with gelatin methacryloyl (GelMA), a natural polymer material derived from native extracellular matrix (ECM) components, this bioink retains essential cell binding motifs, making it highly sought after for tissue engineering applications. The addition of photocrosslinkable functional groups enables the photopolymerization of biocompatible, biodegradable, and non-immunogenic hydrogels that remain stable under biologically relevant conditions.

With a one-step exposure to 405nm light, the bioink can be crosslinked, facilitating further culture and maturation of cells. Its unique properties create an optimal environment that promotes cell adhesion, spreading, and proliferation within reproducible bioprinted constructs. The lower mechanical strength of the bioink makes it ideal for soft tissue engineering applications, providing a platform that recaptures the mechanical properties of soft tissue.

More information and a step by step protocol can be found under the "More Documents" section of this page.

应用

  • Drug discovery: Enables the creation of 3D cell culture models for drug screening and testing in a biologically relevant environment.
  • In-vitro disease models: Facilitates the development of in-vitro disease models that closely mimic the native tissue microenvironment for disease research and drug development.
  • Tissue engineering and regenerative medicine: Provides a versatile platform for bioprinting soft tissue constructs, supporting applications in tissue engineering and regenerative medicine.
