General description
IL-23 and IL-22 play significant roles in the progression of various autoimmune and inflammatory diseases through their effects on immune responses. IL-23 primarily drives the inflammatory response through its role in promoting Th17 cells and their cytokines, while IL-22 contributes to inflammation and tissue damage in various autoimmune diseases.
