Tryptic Soy Broth is a universal complex medium. It supports the growth of a wide variety of aerobic and facultative anaerobic microorganisms, including fungi by the content of two highly nutritious peptones.

Tryptic Soy Broth is used for the isolation and cultivation of fastidious aerobic bacteria, yeasts and molds. The medium is suitable for sterility testing of non-sterile substances, preparations, and products. It is also used as pre-enrichment broth for the test for specified microorganisms or total viable aerobic count determinations using the MPN method.

Production will take place at Millipore SAS in Molsheim, France. Deliveries will be executed in accordance with the terms and conditions of MLS RTU GmbH. A minimum order quantity is required to process the order. Once the order is placed and confirmed, Merck will ensure product delivery within a maximum timeframe of 10 to 12 weeks.
