Application
Anti-Trk B Antibody, pain, a.a. 54-67 rTrkB detects level of Trk B & has been published & validated for use in IH & WB.
Immunohistochemistry: 1:2,000-1:3,000. The antibody reacts well with tissue from the rat spinal cord.
Immunoblotting: 1:1,000-1:1,500 on rat membrane preparations. The antibody should be
evaluated for use in Western blot by the end user. Its utility will be dependant on the level of
the protein expressed in the tissues or cells being tested.
Optimal working dilutions must be determined by end user.

Brain‑derived neurotrophic factor (BDNF), a member of the neurotropic family, is expressed in osteoblast‑like cells of a fracture callus, however, its role in fracture healing remains to be fully elucidated. Osteoblasts isolated from Sprague Dawley rats were stimulated by BDNF

The receptor tyrosine kinase TrkB and its ligands, brain-derived neurotrophic factor (BDNF) and neurotrophin-4/5 (NT-4/5), are critically important for growth, survival and activity-dependent synaptic strengthening in the central nervous system. These TrkB-mediated actions occur in a highly cell-type specific manner.

Mammalian aging is associated with decline in cognitive functions. Studies searching for a cause of cognitive aging initially focused on neuronal loss but quantitative investigations of rat, monkey, and human brain using stereology demonstrated that in normal aging, unlike in
