生化/生理作用
溶菌酶水解切割粘多糖和肽聚糖相应聚糖骨架（后者是与肽链连接或交联的糖胺聚糖）中N-乙酰-D-葡糖胺与N-乙酰胞壁酸残基（GlcNAc β1-4Mur）之间的键。溶菌酶能有效破坏细菌的细胞壁。
制备说明
2至8 °C储存。（干燥储存！）
工作溶液：盐酸溶菌酶易溶于水和缓冲溶液，但不溶于有机溶剂。
储存条件（工作溶液）：-15至-25°C
盐酸溶菌酶水溶液（2mg/ml，溶剂为蒸馏水）可在2至8℃下储存数天，或在-15至-25℃下储存数周。

其他说明
一个Shugar单位是指：在+25°C下，在1 ml pH7.0的溶壁微球菌( Micrococcus luteus )悬浮液中，在450nm波长处的初始吸光度为0.750，路径长度为10mm，引起吸光度以每分钟0.001的速率降低的酶量。
