General description

碘化钾（KI）是一种化合物，可作为亲核位移反应中的碘离子源。在醛类化合物的电化学氧化过程中，它起介质的作用。在酸环境下，它可以裂解一些醚。KI 在氧化剂环境下可将芳香化合物和有机铊化合物碘化。此外，它可以与磺酰氯反应形成对称的硫磺酸 S-酯。

Application

碘化钾可用作：

碘源，以叔丁基过氧化氢（TBHP）为氧化剂，从炔和酚合成 1-碘炔和碘酚的。
催化剂，以磺酰肼为磺酰前体，水为溶剂，通过活化烯烃芳基磺酰化合成磺化氧吲哚。
氧化降解抑制剂，以减少单乙醇胺（MEA）的氧化降解。
