Application

Ruby Stain offers good sensitivity and minimal interference with MALDI-TOF analyis. It has been demonstrated as an effective fluorescent stain for the analysis of 2D-gel separated proteins .

One package includes 50 μl concentrate. Dilution into 1 L water yields a 1 μM solution

Analysis Note

The dye can be excited with standard light sources. Excitation with 300 nm (UV light) or 473 nm (blue laser) is suitable.
