一般描述

视网膜的视黄醇和视黄酸是一种醛,是维生素A的醇和酸形式。类视黄醇存在许多空间异构体,因为它的脂肪链有不饱和键。视黄醇具有广泛的生物活性。
视黄醇或全反式视黄醇是20碳分子,含环己烯基环、带四个双键(均为 反式 构型)的侧链和末端醇基。

应用

视黄醇作为标准品,通过超高效液相色谱-串联质谱仪(UPLC-MS / MS),检测和定量维生素。

生化/生理作用

视黄醇及其衍生物有抗衰老特性。视黄醇用于治疗皱纹和衰老迹象。然而,由于其对光不稳定加上对皮肤具有刺激性,几乎不用于化妆品配方。视黄醇也用作皮肤病的治疗剂。缺乏会导致干燥症和毛囊角化过度症。
