Gene Information
human ... SLC37A3(84255)
Immunogen
Synthetic peptide directed towards the middle region of human SLC37A3
Application
Anti-SLC37A3 antibody produced in rabbit is suitable for western blotting at a concentration of 0.25μg/ml and for immunohistochemistry of paraffin-embedded tissue sections at a concentration of 4-8μg/ml.
Biochem/physiol Actions
SLC37A3 belongs to the SLC37 family of sugar-phosphate exchangers anchored on the membrane of endoplasmic reticulum. Variants of the gene encoding this transporter have been observed in congenital hyperinsulinism patients.
Physical form
Purified antibody supplied in 1x PBS buffer with 0.09% (w/v) sodium azide and 2% sucrose.
Other Notes
Synthetic peptide located within the following region: FFGLLVSPEEIGLSGIEAEENFEEDSHRPLINGGENEDEYEPNYSIQDDS

The SLC37 family consists of four sugar-phosphate exchangers, A1, A2, A3, and A4, which are anchored in the endoplasmic reticulum (ER) membrane. The best characterized family member is SLC37A4, better known as the glucose-6-phosphate (G6P) transporter (G6PT). SLC37A1, SLC37A2, and
