STRN3 (striatin 3) belongs to the striatin sub-family of WD-40 repeat proteins. It is involved in a wide range of physiological processes including signal transduction, cell cycle progression and protein-protein interactions. Structurally, it is composed of six WD-40 repeats containing motif at the C-terminal end and a transcriptional activator region at the N-terminal end.

STRN3 (striatin 3) is highly interactive to various proteins including caveolin and calmodulin. By this protein-protein interaction, it promotes the formation of a multimeric protein unit called striatin-interacting phosphatase and kinase.
