RGL1 (Ral guanine nucleotide dissociation stimulator-like 1) is a ~112kDa protein belonging to the lgl (lethal giant larvae) tumor suppressor gene family. It consists of a domain characteristic of WD-40 protein. It is widely distributed in several tissues and highly expressed in the heart, brain, kidney, spleen and testis.

RGL1 (Ral guanine nucleotide dissociation stimulator-like 1) functions as a downstream effector protein in Ras and Ral signaling pathways. It mediates cell-cell interactions and also participates in cation homeostasis during development in mammals.
