The AF Cholesterol Assay Kit uses a single working reagent that combines cholesterol ester hydrolysis, oxidation and color reaction in one step. The color intensity of the reaction product at A₅₇₀ nm or fluorescence intensity at λ_Ex = 530 nm/λ_Em = 585 nm is directly proportional to the total cholesterol concentration in the sample.

Efficient and Precise: Detect Cholesterol levels ranging from 0.1 to 10 mg/dL (colorimetric) and 0.02 to 2 mg/dL (fluorimetric) in a 30 minute room temperature reaction, providing both convenience and sensitivity.
