General description
Tris 平衡苯酚溶液是一种透明液体，上面覆盖着一层 Tris 缓冲液。 苯酚溶液可用于多种分子生物学应用。苯酚等有机化合物具有芳香族碳环，其上直接连接有羟基。一羟基苯的通用名称是苯酚。
Application
苯酚溶液可用于：
- 作为消化反应液组分制备不含RNA酶的质粒，用于兔网织红细胞裂解液的体外翻译
- 从拟南芥莲座叶中提取 DNA
- 从保存纸(preservation paper)上通过标准苯酚-氯仿法标准提取血液DNA
- 作为提取缓冲液组分，提取果浆RNA
- 从根中提取蛋白质
- 分离粪便 DNA
- 提取caged RNA
Biochem/physiol Actions
苯酚-氯仿法广泛用于核酸提取。尽管苯酚不能完全抑制 RNase 活性，但在与氯仿和乙醇联用时，其独特的特性有助于核酸分离。
