General description
自噬相关7（ATG7）由定位于人类染色体3p25.3的基因编码。编码的蛋白质具有普遍表达。
单克隆抗Atg7（小鼠IgG1亚型）来自于免疫BALB/c小鼠骨髓瘤细胞和脾细胞相互融合而产生的ATG7-13杂交瘤细胞，合成肽对应于人Atg7的N末端序列。
Immunogen
该合成肽与KLH偶联，其对应于人Atg7的N末端附近序列。在大鼠和小鼠Atg7中的相应序列是相同的。

Biochem/physiol Actions
Atg7可以激活所有三个Atg8哺乳动物同源物，（16 kDa的高尔基体相关ATPase增强子（GATE-16），GABA受体相关蛋白（GABARAP）和微管相关蛋白轻链3（MAP-LC3）。它通过C末端区域形成同型二聚体，这对于酶底物相互作用和E1-E2复合物的形成很重要。发现Atg7对于新生儿的氨基酸供应和饥饿−诱导的小鼠蛋白质和细胞器的大量降解至关重要。Atg7的丢失会导致异常细胞器和泛素阳性聚集体的积累，并导致神经变性。
自噬相关7（ATG7）在成人造血干细胞（HSC）的调节中起着至关重要的作用。ATG7表达在嗜酸性食管炎（EoE）中升高。因此，这可以用作诊断小儿患者EoE炎症的有效组织生物标志物。编码的蛋白质在自噬囊泡伸长中起重要作用。此外，它还涉及两个重要的泛素样反应，例如LC3脂化和ATG5/12结合。Atg7的下调表达增加了对化学疗法的敏感性，并使急性髓细胞性白血病（AML）的基质介导的化学耐药性失效。
