生化/生理作用
硼酸可用作牙周治疗中的冲洗液，因为它会引发根管微生物生物膜的杀菌作用。 硼酸可促进成骨细胞活性并抑制骨质流失。它会抑制白色念珠菌造成的真菌感染，并具有治疗阴道感染的潜力。
