Reacts with cytokeratins 13, 15 and 16. Labels non-keratinizing squamous epithelium, the basal layer of pseudostratified epithelium and transitional epithelium. Does not react with normal epidermis or most simple epithelial cells. Reacts with all squamous cell carcinomas tested, but not with adenocarcinomas. A subset of breast carcinoma is detected with this antibody.
