生化/生理作用
MIG, a member of the α (CXC) chemokine family of inflammatory and immunoregulatory cytokines, is a chemoattractant for activated T lymphocytes and TIL, but not for neutrophils or monocytes. The MIG gene is induced in macrophages and primary glial cells of the central nervous system specifically in response to IFN-γ. MIG with large C-terminal deletions have diminished activity in calcium flux assay. The chemokine receptor CXCR3 is specific for MIG and IP-10 and highly expressed in IL-2-activated T-lymphocytes.
外形
Lyophilized from a 0.2 μm filtered solution in 30% acetonitrile and 0.1% trifluoroacetic acid containing 0.5 mg bovine serum albumin.
分析说明
The biological activity is measured by its ability to chemoattract human lymphocytes cultured for 8-10 days in the presence of IL-2.

Mig is a chemokine of the CXC subfamily that was discovered by differential screening of a cDNA library prepared from lymphokine-activated macrophages. The mig gene is inducible in macrophages and in other cells in response to interferon (IFN)-gamma. We have

Characterization of lymphokine-activated genes in mouse macrophages led to the identification previously of Mumig, an interferon-gamma-inducible murine gene that encodes a member of the chemokine family of cytokines. The Mumig cDNA probe was used to screen a cDNA library prepared
