磷酸葡萄糖变位酶(PGM)在糖酵解和糖异生中起着至关重要的作用。参与糖原和昆虫海藻糖的代谢。磷酸葡萄糖变位酶也参与植物和某些微生物的发育。葡萄糖-6-磷酸是核心代谢产物,因此PGM是蛋白质、脂质和核酸的代谢关键,对植物发育至关重要。磷酸葡萄糖变位酶催化葡萄糖-6-磷酸(G-6-P)和葡萄糖-1-磷酸(G-1-P)的相互转变。
