Pitstop 2 是网格蛋白介导内吞作用的选择性抑制剂,通过阻断配体进入网格蛋白末端结构域发挥作用。Pitstop 2 能选择性抑制网格蛋白介导的 HIV 进入,并阻止网格蛋白包覆的pit (CCP) 动力学。
Pitstop 2 还具有破坏核孔复合体 (NPC) 通透性屏障和降低输入蛋白 β结合,同时改变 NPC 超微结构。Pitstop 2 还参与抑制血小板活化、血小板聚集和分泌。
