Palosuran (ACT-058362) is an orally available, potent, and selective noncompetitive urotensin 2 receptor antagonist. Palosuran decreases serum glucose, cholesterol, and triglyceride levels and increases survival in a rat model of diabetes induced by streptozotocin.
