48 hours. If you do not plan to use all of the material in 48 hours, remove the vial, seal carefully and store at
–20°C until needed
Comments
For optimal performance:
1. Media should be pH 7.0-8.0.
2. 5-Bromo-3-indolyl-β-D-galactopyranoside should be
added to media after it is cooled below 55 °C.
Suitability Assay
Two strains
freeze-thaw cycles. Store
working aliquots at –70 °C. The product is stable for
24 to 48 hours at 2-8 °C.
