应用
4-马来酰亚胺-TEMPO（4-马来酰亚胺-四甲基哌啶氧自由基）已作为电子顺磁共振光谱法(EPR)自旋探针，研究胆盐对大鼠完整线粒体膜的影响。也可作为自旋探针标记红细胞膜，通过EPR光谱技术研究槲皮素和红细胞蛋白的相互作用。

用于研究脑突触体膜流动性、红细胞内微粘度和人高密度脂蛋白的自旋标记物。
