General description

Indium tin oxide coated polyethylene terephthalate (PET) film is optically transparent and electrically conductive.The ITO coating is protected by a thin, transparent film, that can be easily peeled off.

ITO-PET may be used in fabricating flexible OLEDs. ITO/PET may be used as a reference anode in conventional flexible polymer based organic solar cells (OSCs).

While significant progress has been made in the development of conventional bulk heterojunction cells, new approaches are required to achieve the performance and stability necessary to enable commercially successful OPVs.
