Application
Ca3Co4O9 (CCO) is a p-type semiconductor with a misfit layer structure. CCO has emerged as a promising thermoelectric material owing to its low cost, nontoxicity, light weight, high thermal and chemical stability and oxidation resistance at high temperatures. Substitution with other elements further increases the thermopower.
