Application
This anode grade graphene oxide is specifically optimized as starting material for additives in lithium ion battery anodes. Graphene oxide and reduced graphene oxide have been heavily used as additives to wrap active lithium ion battery materials. The mechanical property of graphene based sheets can provide structure integrity for the active material during charge/discharge induced huge volume change, and thus results in improved cycle life. Furthermore, graphene and reduced graphene oxide can give extra benifits such as fast charge rate and large capacity, due to their high conductivity and electrochemical surface area.
