The e-Core punch is a compact, versatile, electric coring instruments designed for efficient sampling of Whatman FTA and FTA Elute matrices.

This semi-automated punch is designed to utilize the replaceable Cytiva Micro-Punch tips. The razor sharp cutting edge on the Micro-Punch tip cleanly and precisely cores discs, all but eliminating the creation of artifacts and potential cross-contaminations between sampling. An ergonomic "joy stick" grip and simple operation provide comfort and efficiency, integrating smoothly into the laboratory sample throughput. These features enable you to punch hundreds of samples per day without discomfort.

The e-Core punch, like the Micro-Punch and Uni-Core punches, offer the same patented combination of sampling features - coring, retrieving and storing in a single operation, but with the dramatically decreased processing times. An ejection systems allows the user to control the delivery of the ejected disc. Most importantly, the e-Core ejection system does not generate static, ensuring accurate disc delivery.

The e-Core kit includes one e-Core punch with 1.2 mm tip and cover cap, two additional 1.2 mm Micro-Punch tips, power supply with multi-plug adapters, 6.6 x 8 inch cutting mat, carry case, optional cord wrist strap and a user guide.
