General description
DriCap is a safe, non-toxic and non-dusting sorbent canister that provides exceptional moisture adsorbing capacity in a small space. With a number of sorbent types available, DriCap can protect a variety of packaged products from the effects of moisture including caking, mildew, fermentation, potency loss and decreased shelf life.
They have a slower adsorption rate for longer handling times. Contains super-activated indicating silica gel. Some typical applications for use are in pharmaceuticals, medical diagnostics kits, electronic equipment and optical instruments.
Example: One DriCap Desiccant Canister - with a nominal weight of 0.75 g, a nominal diameter of 0.34 in. (8.73 mm) and a nominal length of 0.875 in. (22.2 mm) - when sealed in a volume of 10 in.3 (163.87 cm3) at 77°F (25°C) and 70% RH, will reduce that atmosphere to less than 30% RH within 12 hours.
