These miniature-size models are low in cost, easy to assemble, and portable. Useful for teaching organic chemistry and biochemistry, and for laboratory work. Important biochemical groups are assembled into units, such as peptide bonding units, ribose, and deoxyribose ring units, for easy addition to other parts and units. Color-coded parts are made of flexible polyacetal resin. Can be used interchangeably with HGS Space-filling molecular models. Scale: 1 Å = 1.0 cm.
