General description
Designed for fast and accurate routine determinations of melting points. The heating block accommodates 3 capilliary tubes and has a Pt100 sensor for responsive temperature measurement and control.
Programmable heating, with fast heating at 10°C /min to within a few degrees of expected melting point and then slower ramp rates to take measurement.
The actual melting process can be observed with the help of bright illumination and a powerful magnifying glass. Up to 8 melt temperatures can be recorded for each sample by simply pressing the store button. Air pump in apparatus quickly cools heating block when measurement completed.
User may select English, German, French, Spanish or Italian language program display when switching on apparatus.
