General description
15(S)-HETE-d11 is part of a group of acids called Hydroxyeicosatetraenoic acids (HETEs). This group of acids are metabolites of arachidonate acid and play a significant role in various tissue and organs. HETEs have been shown to play a role in the modulation of inflammation in the early stages of diabetes. 15(S)-HETE-d11 is the deuterated version which will enable the study of structure, dynamics, and function of this lipid within the cell.
