General description

DSPE-PEG(2000) Succinyl is widely used in liposome preparation.
DSPE-PEG(2000) Succinyl or 1,2-distearoyl-sn-glycero-3-phosphoethanolamine-N-[succinyl(polyethylene glycol)-2000] is a functionalized PEG lipid.

Application

DSPE-PEG(2000) Succinyl has been used in micelle synthesis.
DSPE-PEG(2000) succinyl has been used to prepare PEGylated liposomes, to obtain sterically stabilized liposomes containing docetaxel. It has also been used in liposomes for vasoactive intestinal peptide (VIP) encapsulation, to achieve PEGylation.
