General description
A certified Snap-N-Spike® Solution suitable as an internal standard for quantitation of (±)-N-Ethylcathinone ephedrine metabolite by LC/MS or GC/MS for applications in urine drug testing, clinical toxicology, or forensic testing. This bath salt cathinone analog is a primary urinary metabolite of N-Ethylcathinone. N-Ethylcathinone, also known as ethylpropion or ETH-CAT, is a synthetic cathinone and stimulant widely found in numerous bath salt blends and party pills. N-Ethylcathinone is also an active metabolite of the prodrug diethylcathinone, sold as the appetite suppressants Anorex, Nobesine, and Tenuate®.
