General description
This PTFE (Polytetrafluoroethylene) tubing is extruded from virgin PTFE. No additives are added to the original PTFE material, except for particles for color coding.
This tubing is used widely in all low-pressure, laboratory applications including before and after an HPLC Pump such as with Mobile Phase Delivery and Solvent Waste Systems. Since PTFE tubing contains "micro-pores" in the tubing wall, which allows a quick air exchange, consideration for use with degassed and oxygen-sensitive solvents is needed.
